Baseball Recap: Moore Haven Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Moore Haven can now relate to. They came up short against the Fort Meade Miners on Tuesday, falling 10-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Terriers haven't been shut out since back in March.

Moore Haven saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenneth Simmons, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Moore Haven is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11. As for Fort Meade, they moved to 15-11 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Moore Haven does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Meade, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marathon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Dolphins will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Miners surely won't give up without a fight.
