Basketball Recap: Calumet Christian Patriots vs. River Forest Ingots
Calumet Christian has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 43-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the River Forest Ingots on Thursday. The Patriots were not able to make up for their loss to the Ingots from their previous meeting back in January of 2022.
Despite the defeat, Calumet Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Makenna Landkrohn almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Calla Ogden, who posted six points and four steals.
