Basketball Recap: Wayside: Sci-Tech Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Wayside: Sci-Tech took on Valor South Austin on Friday. The Wayside: Sci-Tech Ravens came up short against the Valor South Austin Falcons, falling 73-51. The Ravens haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite the loss, Wayside: Sci-Tech still got an impressive performance from Brynden Berry, who posted 24 points. Another player making a difference was Alan Perez, who put up ten points.

Wayside: Sci-Tech now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Valor South Austin, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Wayside: Sci-Tech and Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Valor South Austin will take on IDEA Montopolis in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. IDEA Montopolis will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Valor South Austin surely won't give up without a fight.
