Volleyball Recap: Niwot Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Niwot suffered their biggest loss since August 30th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Monarch Coyotes, falling 3-0. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Coyotes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as three sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 26-24, 26-24, 27-25.

Bella Berger paced Niwot's offense, picking up 15 kills. Berger got some help from Harper Kellner and her 25 assists.

Niwot's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Monarch, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Niwot wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Longmont on the 16th. As for Monarch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Frederick on the 16th.
