Salem found their leader in sophomore Landen Stone, who went 5-for-12 en route to 23 points and five rebounds. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for Stone. Another player making a difference was Mitch Paspal, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 13 points and five boards.
The victory made it two in a row for Salem and bumps their season record up to 7-14. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points over those games. As for Plymouth, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salem will head out to take on Churchill at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
