 The Lincoln Southeast Knights and the Omaha Westside Warriors squared off in some playoff action  on Wednesday, but sadly the Lincoln Southeast Knights had to settle for second. They fell  60-51 to the Warriors. Lincoln Southeast was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Omaha Westside apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in December of 2023.
 Lincoln Southeast lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Deng Giet, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and nine  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Mike Ngoyi, who  scored 14 points.
 Omaha Westside got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Kevin Stubblefield out in front who  scored 16 points along with six  rebounds. Stubblefield hasn't dropped below 16 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cj Mitchell, who  scored 16 points.
 Lincoln Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Omaha Westside, the  victory was  the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-4.
 Lincoln Southeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Omaha Westside, they will square off against Millard North at 7:45  p.m.  on Friday. Millard North knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 16 matchups -- so hopefully Omaha Westside likes a good challenge.
