Basketball Recap: Hermitage Victorious

Hermitage hadn't done well against Emerson recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Hermitage Hermits walked away with a 73-64 victory over the Emerson Pirates. For the Hermits, this counts as revenge for the 76-53 win the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Hermitage's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-13. As for Emerson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Hermitage will head out on the road to challenge Bearden at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Emerson, they will take on Bradley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
