Video: Biggest 4x100 relay team in the country
Check out the big guys getting it done for Southern Lab.Second place in a 4-by-100-meter relay race is not big news. When that group's average weight is 285 pounds, then it becomes a Top Play presented by the United States Coast Guard.
The second leg from the
Southern Lab (Baton Rouge, La.) squad was run by
Cedric Banks. He's the center on the football team and registers 6-foot-3 and 345 pounds.
He wasn't even the biggest guy in the race.
That distinction goes to
Kordell Thomas, an LSU commit who is 6-5 and 356 pounds.
