Football Recap: Teton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Teton was feeling good fresh off their 33-12 takedown of Declo last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Timberwolves took a 42-28 bruising from the Sandpoint Bulldogs on Friday. The matchup was a 20-20 toss-up at halftime, but the Timberwolves couldn't quite close it out.

Despite the loss, Teton still got an impressive performance from Drew Moss, who picked up 132 receiving yards and two TDs. Moss was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 69 yards.

Sandpoint had a senior duo take command as Braden Buckhout threw for 301 yards and five touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes and Maverick Gomez picked up 222 receiving yards and three scores. Jeremiah Palmer handled things on the ground, rushing for 83 yards.

Teton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Sandpoint, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Teton will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on September 12. As for Sandpoint, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Post Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
