Basketball Recap: Christopher Takes a Loss

Christopher was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the DuQuoin Indians. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bearcats have suffered since February 19, 2024.

Christopher's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for DuQuoin, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-10.

Christopher won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Johnston City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for DuQuoin, they and Eldorado will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
