Baseball Recap: Trinity Academy Falls to St. David's in First Game of Season

Trinity Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the St. David's Warriors on Tuesday, falling 12-5. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Jacob Bondy made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Academy will challenge Thales Academy Rolesville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Thales Academy Rolesville has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.25 runs per game on average), something Trinity Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for St. David's, they will square off against Trinity Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
