Basketball Recap: Yosemite Badgers vs. Sierra Chieftains
Yosemite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Sierra Chieftains 79-52. While losing is never fun, the Badgers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1344th, while the Chieftains are ranked 502nd).
Despite the loss, Yosemite still got an impressive performance from Fallon Vaughn, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas McGoldrick, who posted eight points and seven assists.

Yosemite's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Sierra, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-6.
Yosemite didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-31 win against Parlier on the 24th. Sierra has also already played their next matchup, a 63-59 victory against Fowler on the 24th.
