Softball Recap: Muskego Warriors vs. Arrowhead Warhawks

Muskego put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They had just enough and edged the Arrowhead Warhawks out 4-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Muskego also won the last time the pair played back in April.

Kyleigh Sadler made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over nine innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits. Sadler has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Sadler was also big at the plate, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Samantha Brunner, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Muskego pushed their record up to 20-0 with that victory, which was their 12th straight on the road. As for Arrowhead, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-8.
