South Plantation got a great performance from Ben Coffey as he struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.
On the hitting side, South Plantation saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Gollan, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Gustavo Villegas, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with a stolen base and an RBI.
