Notre Dame piles up the points against East

Recap: Notre Dame Titans vs. East Tartans

The Notre Dame Titans stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 71-23 win over East on the road. Winning may never get old, but Notre Dame sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Leading Notre Dame to victory were Katie Strickland and Gracie Ashley. Strickland dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds, while Ashley scored 20 points. Strickland is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Savanah Holtgrewe, who scored seven points along with five assists.

Notre Dame has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. As for East, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame will take on South Gallia at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Notre Dame is coming into the game with 12 straight wins at home, meaning South Gallia will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. East will take on Hannan at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
