Football Recap: Mariah Coleman and Reagan Overstreet Pace West Nassau Defense

West Nassau fell victim to Andrew Jackson and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell 6-0 to the Tigers. The match marked the first time this season in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

West Nassau didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mariah Coleman and Reagan Overstreet. Coleman is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as she's now made five or more in each of the last four games she's played.

West Nassau dropped their record down to 6-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Andrew Jackson, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

West Nassau has already played their next contest, a 34-0 victory against Global Outreach Charter Academy on the 4th. As for Andrew Jackson, they will host ED White at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Tigers 11.4, the Commanders 6.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
