Ira came tearing into Tuesday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Westbrook Wildcats. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matches by eight runs or more this season.

Ira's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Westbrook, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
