Softball Recap: Scottsboro's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

With a playoff win on the line, Scottsboro rose to the challenge on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Sardis Lions a 9-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Scottsboro, bringing their record up to 26-13-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Sardis, their loss dropped their record down to 28-17.

As of now, neither Scottsboro nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
