Basketball Recap: Revere Takes a Loss

Revere was the 69-60 winner over Tallmadge when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Revere Minutemen fell to the Tallmadge Blue Devils 78-73. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (64), the Minutemen still had to take the loss.

Revere's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Tallmadge, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Revere won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Brecksville-Broadview Heights at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Revere's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games. As for Tallmadge, they and Solon will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
