Softball Recap: White House Takes a Loss

White House was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 5-1 to the Greenbrier Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 6-3 loss last Thursday.

Jaley Greer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run.

White House's defeat dropped their record down to 2-22-1. As for Greenbrier, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-16 record this season.

White House has already played their next contest, an 11-4 loss against Macon County on the 5th. Greenbrier does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
