Basketball Recap: Greenway Takes a Loss

Greenway lost against Aitkin back in December of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Greenway Raiders were beaten by the Aitkin Gobblers 88-26. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 391st, while the Gobblers are ranked 176th).

Greenway's defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-22. As for Aitkin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenway will venture away from home to challenge Kelley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Aitkin, they will square off against Staples-Motley at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
