Colony is a perfect 5-0 against Homer since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Mariners at 5:00 p.m. Colony's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Colony is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Wasilla, who was ranked sixth at the time (Colony was ranked seventh). The Knights fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Colony have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Homer was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 5-0 to Soldotna. Homer haven't had much luck with Soldotna recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Colony's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Homer, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3-2.

Everything went Colony's way against Homer in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Colony made off with a 5-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
