The Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils will head out to square off against the Earlham Cardinals on Saturday. Martensdale-St. Mary's will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Martensdale-St. Mary's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 19-0 margin over Central Decatur. Considering the Blue Devils have won 20 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Earlham got the win against East Union on Tuesday by a conclusive 6-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Martensdale-St. Mary's pushed their record up to 26-5 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Earlham, their win bumped their record up to 11-18.

Everything went Martensdale-St. Mary's way against Earlham in their previous matchup back in June, as Martensdale-St. Mary's made off with an 8-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
