Basketball Recap: South Gibson Takes a Loss

South Gibson was the 57-53 winner over Gibson County when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The South Gibson Hornets fell 69-59 to the Gibson County Pioneers on Friday.

South Gibson's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Gibson County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Gibson will head out to square off against Dyersburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Dyersburg's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Gibson County, they will venture away from home to challenge Peabody at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
