Baseball Recap: Woodside Comes Up Short

Woodside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 14-4 to the Gloucester Dukes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dukes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-3 on Tuesday.

Shaquan Patrick was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Richard Jones also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Woodside's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Gloucester, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-4.

As of now, neither Woodside nor the Dukes have any future games scheduled.
