It was a good run, but East Rochester unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 11-1 to the Sodus Spartans. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Bombers couldn't push the score so high this time.

East Rochester's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Sodus, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 15-0.

Coming up, Sodus is taking a road trip to face off against Gananda Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Panthers have averaged an impressive 9.3 runs per game this season. East Rochester will be paying especially close attention to Sodus' match: after Sodus faces off against Williamson, they'll take on East Rochester again at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
