Volleyball Recap: Arroyo Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Eisenhower two weeks ago, Arroyo Valley came back down to earth. Arroyo Valley fell just short of the Indian Springs COYOTES by a score of 3-2 on Monday. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the COYOTES when the teams met back in April of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Arroyo Valley took Indian Springs into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking nine-point loss. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 19-25, 23-25, 15-6.

Arroyo Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Indian Springs, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13.

Looking ahead, Arroyo Valley will face off against Rim of the World at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Indian Springs, they will square off against Public Safety Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Indian Springs is facing Public Safety Academy at the right time seeing as Public Safety Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
