Northwest Guilford has gone 7-1 against East Forsyth recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Northwest Guilford Vikings will head out to face off against the East Forsyth Eagles at 6:00 p.m.

Northwest Guilford easily dispatched Grimsley on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Northwest Guilford fell just short of Northern Guilford by a score of 55-53 on Friday. The match was a 26-26 toss-up at halftime, but the Vikings couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, East Forsyth entered their tilt with Davie on Friday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 42-38 W against the War Eagles.

Northwest Guilford better keep an eye on Mya Booth. She was instrumental in East Forsyth's win, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance gave Booth a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Jessup, who en route to 12 points.

East Forsyth smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in eight consecutive games.

East Forsyth's record is now 19-5. As for Northwest Guilford, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10.

Northwest Guilford came up short against East Forsyth when the teams last played back in February of 2022, falling 57-46. Can Northwest Guilford avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
