Soccer Recap: Oswego East Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Oswego East was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Plainfield Central Wildcats. Oswego East were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Plainfield Central apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Oswego East's goal came courtesy of Gabby McPhee, who's now up to five this season.

Oswego East's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-6. As for Plainfield Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Oswego East will face off against rival Yorkville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Plainfield Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Joliet Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
