Softball Recap: Rossview Comes Up Short

Rossview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clarksville Wildcats. The Hawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Kennedy Scott made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season.

Rossview's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Clarksville, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Rossview will take on rival East Robertson at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Clarksville is set to challenge their familiar foe Springfield at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
