Volleyball Recap: Reavis Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Reavis lost against Homewood-Flossmoor back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams fell 2-0 to the Vikings. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Reavis was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-10.

Weronika Kurnat paced Reavis' offense, picking up four kills. Kurnat got some help from Quetzalli Pichardo-Aich and her eight assists. Francine Chua controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Reavis' loss dropped their record down to 10-20. As for Homewood-Flossmoor, they now have a winning record of 17-16.

While Reavis had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
