Volleyball Recap: Mineral Point Extends Winning Streak to Three

Mineral Point entered their tilt with Bangor on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cardinals. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Mineral Point can attribute much of their success to Ava Ingwell, who had 14 digs and three assists. Another player making a difference was Sophie Miller, who had 18 assists and four digs.

Mineral Point's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Bangor, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Mineral Point has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Rib Lake on the 12th. Hopefully Bangor paid attention to the Pointers' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Pointers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
