Soccer Game Preview: St. Peter vs. Mankato West

The St. Peter Saints will face off against the Mankato West Scarlets at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

St. Peter is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against New Ulm on Thursday. The Saints and the Eagles finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Mankato West fell victim to Winona and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 5-0 to the Winhawks.

St. Peter's draw gives them a new season record of 6-5-1. As for Mankato West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

St. Peter beat Mankato West by a goal when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 1-0. Do the Saints have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Scarlets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
