Basketball Recap: Lewiston Takes a Loss

Lewiston lost against Portland on January 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lewiston Blue Devils took a 42-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Portland Bulldogs. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lewiston's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Portland, they moved to 4-12 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Lewiston and Portland could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Maine Rankings. Lewiston will challenge Oxford Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 94 places (101 vs. 7). Meanwhile, Portland (ranked 97th) will meet Edward Little (ranked 20th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
