Basketball Recap: Collinsville Takes a Loss

Collinsville was the 58-43 winner over Claremore when they last played one another on January 7th, but their luck changed this time around. The Collinsville Cardinals took a 43-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Claremore Zebras on Tuesday. The match marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Collinsville has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season. As for Claremore, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Collinsville and Claremore should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Collinsville will take on Nathan Hale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 258 places (75 vs. 333). Meanwhile, Claremore (ranked 166th) will meet Guthrie (ranked 391st) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
