Soccer Game Preview: Peachtree Ridge vs. Northview

The Peachtree Ridge Lions will challenge the Northview Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Peachtree Ridge has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Northview will arrive with four straight victories.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Peachtree Ridge and Duluth, and Duluth kept the tradition alive. Northview's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over North Springs. The result was nothing new for Northview, who have now won six contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Northview's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Peachtree Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
