Volleyball Recap: Spanish Fork Takes a Loss

Spanish Fork lost against Pleasant Grove back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dons fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-2. The Dons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Spanish Fork started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 23-25, 25-22, 25-13, 15-12.

Spanish Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Pleasant Grove, they pushed their record up to 16-9 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Spanish Fork is set to square off against their familiar foe Timpview at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pleasant Grove will challenge rival Wasatch at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
