Volleyball Recap: Shiloh Christian Comes Up Short

Shiloh Christian lost against Blue Springs South back in August of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Saints fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 2-1.

Chloe Blessing paced Shiloh Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Blessing got some help from Amy Dawson and her ten assists. Lily Cox controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Shiloh Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. Blue Springs South's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Shiloh Christian will be playing at home against Rogers Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blue Springs South, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Siloam Springs on the 30th.
