Basketball Game Preview: Negaunee Miners vs. Hancock Bulldogs

The Negaunee Miners will face off against the Hancock Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Hancock took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Negaunee, who comes in off a win.

Hancock is hoping to do what Marquette couldn't on Tuesday: put an end to Negaunee's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Negaunee came out on top against Marquette by a score of 35-22.

Meanwhile, Hancock suffered their biggest defeat since February 5th on Tuesday. They came up short against Calumet, falling 44-24.

Negaunee pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Hancock, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything came up roses for Negaunee against Hancock in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 62-23 win. Will Negaunee repeat their success, or does Hancock have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
