Volleyball Recap: St. Luke's Episcopal Takes a Loss

St. Luke's Episcopal lost against UMS-Wright Prep back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While St. Luke's Episcopal was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19.

Riley Reynolds paced St. Luke's Episcopal's offense, picking up six kills. Reynolds got some help from Baker Garside and her 12 assists. Lauren Watson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

St. Luke's Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 20-10. As for UMS-Wright Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 17-9.

St. Luke's Episcopal has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Orange Beach on the 4th. As for UMS-Wright Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Bowling Green on the 4th.
