Basketball Recap: North Star Co-Op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] Drops Highest Score of Season Against Drayton/Valley-Edinburg

North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They received a blow as they fell 71-54 to the Drayton/Valley-Edinburg Titans. The Bearcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Drayton/Valley-Edinburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aleah Pokrzywinski, who went 7 of 15 on her way to 18 points in addition to five assists and four steals. Pokrzywinski continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Fedje, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards.

North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Drayton/Valley-Edinburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-13.
