Cottondale won the last time they faced Vernon and Tramond Collins did his part to make sure it happened again. The Hornets claimed a resounding 68-24 victory over the Yellowjackets thanks in part to Collins, who went 9-for-13 en route to 19 points in addition to eight rebounds and six steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Cottondale has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Cottondale will square off against Marianna at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vernon, they will challenge Zion Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
