Softball Recap: Lakeview Comes Up Short

Lakeview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 15-3 to the Kent City Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-5 defeat on Monday.

Lakeview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katelyn Buchner, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Lakeview's record now sits at 3-10. As for Kent City, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

While Lakeview had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
