Soccer Recap: Farmington Comes Up Short

Farmington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the St. Vincent Indians. While losing is never fun, Farmington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 190th, while St. Vincent are ranked 41st).

Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for St. Vincent, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farmington will face off against Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Vincent, they will take on Murphysboro at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
