Pendleton and Dixie are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Pendleton Bulldogs will square off against the Dixie Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Monday. Pendleton fell just short of Newberry by a score of 1-0. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Pendleton couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Dixie didn't have quite enough to beat Newberry on Thursday and fell 2-1.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pendleton fell to 3-1. As for Dixie, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
