Baseball Recap: Quartz Hill Comes Up Short

Quartz Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 6-3 to the Westview Wildcats.

Marley Castaneda made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases and one RBI.

Quartz Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Westview, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quartz Hill will head out to face off against Lancaster at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Lancaster will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Quartz Hill surely won't give up without a fight. As for Westview, they are taking a road trip to challenge Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
