The Mount Greylock Regional Mounties are taking a road trip to face off against the Franklin County Tech Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Mount Greylock Regional's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
Mount Greylock Regional came out on top against Turners Falls on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run second inning. The Mounties blew past the Indians 11-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Mounties have posted against the Indians since April 21, 2023.
Kaleigh Jaros was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Jaros was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Audrianna Pelkey, who fired off four doubles, two stolen bases, and three RBI while going 4-for-5. Those four doubles gave her a new career-high. Islay Campbell also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
Mount Greylock Regional kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in eight consecutive matchups.
Wahconah Regional hit Franklin County Tech with a four-run third inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles came up short against the Warriors, falling 10-4.
Franklin County Tech saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Worden, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Mount Greylock Regional is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Franklin County Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
Mount Greylock Regional might still be hurting after the 15-3 loss they got from Franklin County Tech in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Mounties avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
