Tri-Valley is 8-2 against Salmon River since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Tri-Valley Titans will face off against the Salmon River Savages at 7:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Salmon River will be up against a hot Tri-Valley team: the squad just extended their winning streak to 12. Tri-Valley breezed past Garden Valley to the tune of 69-28 on Friday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-11.

Meanwhile, Salmon River really took it to Cascade for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-22 win. The Savages haven't had any issues with the Ramblers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Salmon River's win came from a few key players Tri-Valley will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Rylee Walters, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Salmon River's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Wilson, who posted 11 points and eight steals.

Tri-Valley's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.4 points over those games. As for Salmon River, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.

Tri-Valley skirted past Salmon River 39-36 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tri-Valley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
