Basketball Recap: Byron Comes Up Short

Byron was the 66-55 winner over Lourdes when they last played one another back in December of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Monday.

Byron's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Lourdes, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Byron will square off against Goodhue at 1:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lourdes, they will take on Dover-Eyota at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday.
