Baseball Recap: Bradford Takes a Loss

After flying high against Tipton Christian Academy on Monday, Bradford came back down to earth. The Bradford Red Devils lost 7-1 to the Gibson County Pioneers on Monday. The game marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bradford saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Hagan, who went 1-for-3 with one triple. Kaden Brauer also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Bradford's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Gibson County, the victory was the fourth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bradford will host Camden Central at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gibson County, they will be taking part in a tournament against Tipton Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
